Overview
What is Motability?
Motability provides an affordable, worry-free way for people with disabilities to lease a car, scooter or powered wheelchair in exchange for either all or part of their mobility allowance. Motability is operated by Motability Operations Ltd, under contract to Motability, a registered Charity.

How does Motability work?
Head down to Stan Palmer MG and speak to one of our specially trained Motability specialists to find out what great deals are currently available.
All you'll need to provide is:
Your driving licence and/or driving licences for any other named drivers
Your letter of award entitlement
Proof of address, such as a recent utility bill

Motability Adaptations
As part Motability, you can also enquire about any additional adaptations to the car that you need to make your driving experience as smooth and easy as possible. This can include modifications to make it easier to get in and out of the car, as well as greater storage space to securely store vital equipment. All you need to do is ask your dealer how your MG car can be tailored to your specific needs.
Do I Qualify For The Motability Scheme?
The Motability scheme is open to anyone who receives any of the following allowances and has at least 12 months remaining on their award:
Department for Work and Pensions (DWP)
- Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
- Disability Living Allowance (DLA)
Social Security Scotland
- Child Disability Payment (CDP)
- Adult Disability Payment (ADP)
Veterans UK
- Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP)
- War Pensioners' Mobility Supplement (WPMS)
